WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN 'WHAT'S NEW' AND 'FERN CLASSICS'?

Our What's New section will include all NEW designs that we have shown you all on Instagram; these will be shipped between 3-7 working days once purchased and sent via your chosen method. Our Fern Classics are past favourites that have returned as permanent listings but are 'made to order' - this means that once your order comes through for any of our FC designs, our processing time will be 1-2 weeks in order to make, assemble and pack your beauties. Our ‘Limited Edition’ collections also fall into the made to order category and will take around 1-2 weeks to create and prepare. Please bear this in mind before ordering, or if you need quicker, choose the relevant option at checkout/contact us beforehand!

 

WHAT IS IN THE 'LAST PAIRS' COLLECTION?

This beautiful collection is made up of past designs that only have a few pairs left and with all our one of a kind designs; once they're gone, they're gone! We have removed the sold items in each design so it's easier for you to see what's available!


WHAT METALS DO YOU USE?

Our stud posts and backs are important features to us when creating and assembling; we use either sterling silver or surgical grade stainless steel as we have the most annoying skin allergies (nickel being the main culprit!) and it’s not uncommon, so we want to make sure we use ear friendly components! 

These are the only metal findings we use and have used the same suppliers since the beginning but if you’re prone to skin sensitivity and don’t want to risk matters, please get in touch BEFORE ORDERING and we can help as best we can with alternative findings if the two options we offer aren’t suitable!

We assemble once you’ve ordered your pair/a so any special requirements regarding findings, if you haven’t messaged us beforehand, please make a note at the checkout for us to see your preference - you know your ears more than we do! If we DO NOT hear from you before ordering, we will assume you have no preferences or special requirements; please bear this in mind!

 

HOW DO YOU BACK YOUR EARRINGS?

We resin coat the back of each pair of earrings to ensure longevity and comfort. *PLEASE* contact us beforehand if you have any allergies that we should be made aware of (although very rare, it can occur) or if you’re unsure any of the materials we use will agree with your skin, simply send us a message and we will do our best to source an alternative. 

WHEN WILL MY ORDER ARRIVE?

As mentioned above, our current processing time for completing an order after it has been placed is 3-7 working days and 1-2 weeks for 'made to order'. You will then receive a dispatch email notification letting you know that your items have been shipped out.

We currently use Royal Mail to post out our UK and International orders. We offer FREE delivery for the UK, posting 1st Class which typically takes an estimated 1-5 days to arrive depending on regions (however during Covid times parcels can (but not always) take up to 7/10 working days). We also offer an upgrade to Express delivery which incurs a charge at checkout and ensures parcels are sorted quicker...a good option if you're buying a gift for someone special and need them as soon as possible!

For international orders we post all orders using Royal Mail International Standard which takes an estimated 7-28 days to arrive depending on customs/border processing and this option *does not* include tracking details. There is a tracked option which incurs a charge and we will update you with your tracking details. Once we hand over your parcels, *we are not responsible* for any unforseen hold-ups that may occur. We advise during these times to choose tracking but it’s up to you at the time of purchase. 

During the crazy times that we are facing; we are experiencing delays due to Coronavirus/Brexit, so please be patient - however if an order is taking significantly longer than usual, please get in touch and we can try our best to help!

*IMPORTANT INFO FOR EU CUSTOMERS*
- due to new tax regulations which came into effect in July 2021, you may be charged your country’s VAT % and/or customs duties upon delivery regardless of parcel total; regulations are always changing but we will always be upfront about these so please consider before purchasing as once we send, it’s
NOT our responsibility and we will assume you have understood these changes (we have lowered standard postage price to account for potential extra charges at your end, if it happens!) - thank you!

 

CAN I ORDER EXPRESS DELIVERY?

YES you can lovelies! There is an delivery option for Express Delivery and it does incur a charge (rate reflects Royal Mail's NDD charge) - our cut off for sending on the day you buy is 12PM (MIDDAY) GMT; if you purchase an item/s and you have chosen Express and it's after 12PM, we will send first thing the next working day. International Express will be a tracked service and is usually quick depending on customs clearing but this is not A FAST TRACK service.

 

CAN YOU DO CUSTOM ORDERS?

YES! We love hearing from you and discussing your beautiful thoughts and ideas regarding custom requests however this is an incredibly popular option and we do have to limit how many slots we can allow each month, but please get in touch and we can see what we can do!

 

CAN YOU DO 'CLIP ON' EARRINGS?

We certainly do; when we showcase our designs, we assemble and prep once purchased as some people prefer particular backings and most of our earrings can be made as clip ons; however, due to some shapes and sizes, clip on backs are not always an option and therefore we would advise you get in touch before committing to a particular pair.

 

HOW TO LOOK AFTER MY FERN JEWELLERY?

Our beautiful creations are durable but inevitably delicate due to the medium in which we use. Therefore, in order to make sure your earrings stay in the best possible condition, please take these steps to ensure longevity.

Make sure to store your jewellery away from direct sunlight, preferably a drawer or jewellery box. Please be careful when wearing your items in certain weather (rain) and make sure you always remove before showering/jumping into the pool on holiday etc! We do seal our pairs with a protective layer however we still advise to take care.
